This place is incredible. I was in town visiting and stopped by and so glad that I did. The collards and mac were *phenomenal* and so was the gyro. Probably the best tasting gyro and collards I’ve ever had. Amazing flavor!! The owner is a super nice guy too. I’ll be dreaming about this meal until my next time in the Tampa area. Highly recommend!

Lots of vegan comfort food options with a Middle Eastern influence. They have Gryros, falafel, lion's main mushroom burgers and nuggets, Mac and cheese, kabobs, rice bowls, plantains, etc. and desserts. I highly recommend it! Pros: Lots of variety, 100% vegan with breakfast items, very reasonably priced. They have a vegan food truck! Cons: pick up and take out only.

Vegan International is easily my favorite vegan restaurant in Tampa. Everything I have had on the menu (i.e. drumsticks, burgers, empanadas, lions mane nuggets) is consistently delicious. For my fellow born-and-bred Southerners, the vegan drumstick plate with collards, mac, and candied yams is perfection. Make sure to pick up the vegan ranch and a side of cornbread as well! P.S. Vegan International, please bring back the Carolina BBQ sauce 😭

I was excited to see this place was still around since my last visit to area May 2022. Amazing. The best use of the lions mane mushroom. I had lunch here everyday I was in town. I had the lions mane chikn sandwich with fries twice. Lions mane chikn nuggets with coleslaw and mac n chz one day. I have craved a vegan cole slaw for so long and theirs is spot on. The Mac is the same, delicious. One day, I went big and bought a s'mores biscot cookie and it was better than the kitchen sink cookie I miss so much. My favorite is the wrap with falafel. If in Tampa, make sure Vegan Int is on your list to dine at.

I live in Austin, TX, and come to the Tampa area semi-frequently to visit family. One of my favorite parts is getting to be able to eat at this absolutely DELICIOUS place. Living in Austin, I feel like I have a pretty good array of options in terms of vegan food. However, I think Vegan International Co. may beat out every single Austin vegan spot. The jerk chickn platter is one of the most delicious things I’ve ever eaten in my entire life—no exaggeration. The texture of the “chicken” is so moist, and some of the best texture I’ve ever tried for a meat alternative. The flavors are OUT IF THIS WORLD! I mean that with my whole heart and soul. As for the drumsticks—after trying them, I almost cried. As I’ve been vegan for over 3 years now, I haven’t been able to partake in a wing like this in ages. I haven’t been able to find anything remotely like it in Austin. The texture, the flavors—everything was an 11/10!!!! I am so grateful I found this place. I can’t wait to try more items in the future when I come back to visit! Please consider expanding to Austin😊🙏🥹 P.s. I got my order 30 mins to closing. It was still EXTREMELY fresh, hot and amazing quality.
